Youths for SDGs is a 2-day conference for international high school students to come together to discuss global issues, raise awareness on SDGs, and come up with innovative solutions to ongoing problems. The event will serve as a platform for brainstorming and sharing ideas and networking through activities that will require creativity and problem-solving skills to explore potential and practical ways for young individuals to overcome obstacles to the SDGs, with small to medium-scale action as the main focus.

OUR CORE TEAM
GET TO KNOW US!
We’re a group of undergraduate students from different universities and backgrounds passionate about driving change for our society. We’ve had many different opportunities to learn about social issues in our undergraduate years, whether it be through exploring Sweden’s waste management techniques by spending an exchange semester in Stockholm University or learning about local sustainability practices in Thailand’s rural areas. Although we have different experiences and backgrounds, one thing that we share in common is our passion for changing the world for the better, in the ways we can. We strongly believe in the power of youth in being the drivers of future change. As we have gotten numerous different opportunities to learn about social change, we wanted to extend this opportunity for younger youths to learn more about social issues in their highschool years. Being aware of global and local issues is the first step to being the solution to them in the future. We would like to empower youths to know that everyone is capable of contributing to achieve the SDGs within their spheres of influence. Therefore, we teamed up to initiate this event, making this effort truly for youths, by youths.
UNIVERSITY CORE TEAM
Youths are the changemakers of our society. We’re the believers of a better world and of creating that world. Youths can be the change we wish to see in our world. That is why I initiated this event, to create a change in my community along with many other passionate youths.
Youths for SDGs is not just an event, it's a safe space where passionate individuals come together to create a connection; a choosen family where each individual has an opportunity to be the incubator of change.

Youth is the future, and the future of the country and the world is in our hand. That's why we are here to change the world for the better future for ourselves and for the next generations.

I highly believe that changes for the future starts today and big changes start from small steps. Here at Youths for SDGs, we’re very glad to be able to support passionate youths to continue making this world a better place.
I believe that youth is the key to the better of the society. With the power of knowledge and determination, we can provide better future or all.

MEET OUR YOUTH LEADERS
As an attempt to include youths in our efforts of creating the event, we opened up the opportunity to high schoolers who are already familiar with and passionate about social issues to help lead this event with us. We proud to present to you our 20 youth leaders, from different international schools, who share the same passion for solving social issues. They would be leading the discussions in the Breakout Session and activities in the Sustainability Quest. And we’re thrilled to be collaborating with them. Hearing about the creative ideas they have in store, we can’t wait to share it with you!
I believe that the youth of SDGs is the key starting point to drive the youths towards a change. I am glad that I have been given this opportunity to help implement this to build a better future for ourselves and others.
I joined the team because I believe that the youth is the future of the world, and the Sustainable Development Goals are a concrete and clear representation of the steps we need to take for a brighter future!

Walking into all of this, I was rather anxious but now that I'm here, I've learned quite a lot from surrounding myself with these amazing people with similar interests as myself and that truly inspires me so I hope to do the same to you all~â•°(*´ï¸¶`*)╯♡
My desire to be most eligible was as stable as a crumbling cookie. This isn't a competition, if there's something to fight for, it's for our human rights and planet.

There is no point going around and telling people that you are passionate about if you just stop there. Youth for SDG is not passive recognition - it is a platform for youths to take action, and I am so glad to be a part of it.

Being a part of Youth for SDGs since the beginning has been a room full of experience. I am grateful for the opportunity I got as a Youth Leader which has led me to make connections with the youths in Bangkok who strive to bring change in our community.
I will be forever grateful to have had the honor to work with Youths for SDGs for the past few years. It has been, and will always be, the platform for youths in Bangkok to become catalysts for change.

Joining the Youths for SDGs team as a Youth Leader gave me many opportunities to collaborate with other youths and share our ideas with one another. With the sustainable development goals bringing us all together to raise awareness and discuss global issues.
Youth for SDGs is a platform that enables me to contribute towards a common cause and enhances my knowledge about complex issues in our world today.

Registration Fee: 1,000 Baht
​
This fee includes lunches and snacks during the two days of the event, as well as an exclusive Youths for SDGs gift. The organisation is a non-profit organisation. All remaining funds will be used by the organisation to advocate for SDGs.
