Bangkok has sporadically recorded as the world’s worst air quality according to Air Visual, an app for monitoring air pollution. Air quality is wholly dependent on numerous factors: Emissions of chemicals, particles, microbes, humidity and lots more. Now that COVID-19 has taken over the country by encouraging domestic “Stay Home Lockdown” or quarantine, it has significantly influenced Thailand’s air quality.
